hospitals suck

So I went to work today and every time I walked I would teeter and totter and I would get really lightheaded. I decided to go home early and sleep, but when I told mum she said that I should go to the hospital. This was after I weaseled an early appointment out of my doctor for Monday morning. I went there at 4:00. It took me an hour to get in. Then they told me I'd need to have an IV and get blood taken. After being asked the same questions fifty times I got an X-ray done. Then the tech came to take blood and put in the IV. Well she tried my right arm, dug for a while, then gave up. They went to the next arm. Success! (Thank God because it was taking happy thoughts of being in Vancouver with Tegan to get me to relax enough). After a while I started getting cold because of the drip they were giving me. So cold that mum noticed my fingers were turning blue. She fought and finally got me blankets. I waited two hours to hear that *drum roll* nothing was wrong with me. *throws confetti* Joy /sarcasm. The doc was more helpful since he said that it might possibly chronic or chronic fatigue and to make sure I go back to my family doctor. HOpefully they can figure out something then . . . or at least tell me what I should do when I do feel like this.

*sighs*

Fredz, because I promised. ♥

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

This was a colab sort of thing by Maeve and I.
Freddie is an olddd man in short shots who leans over cars. We saw him. We kept him.
As of now, Freddie has died and been reborn in spirit form by the Mango Baby.
Da almighty mango, baby!

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

And this picture was drawn by Maever while we were in the car. Bottomson os Freddie's last name. Miss. Bottomson is his ex wife. She likes to wear shoes that don't really fit and her foot ooooozes out of the shoe.

I like the expressions in that one, especially Fredzz. :D

But yeah. There's so much that I want to do before school starts, and I'm kind of putting the whole thing off because the list is freaking long.

OH OKAY. AND SPOILERS FOR CODE GEASS EPISODE 19 BELOW.
I WARNED YOU PEOPLE IN CAPS AND BOLD.

Wow, Lelouch ended up a but like Light, huh?
It was pretty shocking. It also made me kind of sad.

Well. There were also lots of differences between his fate and Light's. Lelouch ended up caring for Kallen enough to try and save her. And I think he didn't try to use Rollo to his advantage either. Plus, he knew when it was over. Almost to thethe point where it was irritating. There were still so many cards he could play. Not for Nunally, yeah.

But to live? I mean, come on. :/

For one, if his men were seriously under Geass, why would they be standing there holding a gun to his face? That one was obvious. From what his men know about it, this proves that they're not under Geass.

And there's a few other things that were bothering me about how Lelouch executed his brilliant plans, but I'm tired and can't remember them all right now.

So. Later. I'll post about them all neatly in list form. :] (LOL LOL XD)
Night folks!

Doctors suck. The lab work showed I was healthy, but they forgot to check for mono *sigh* Now i have to go back, but all that it will do is prove I have mono and can't do jack shit about it and wait the mandatory four months or so to heal. *sigh*

This song makes me insanely happy.

Of course the video may very well give you a seizure.
Anyway. For some reason, in this video, I find him to be really hottt. Especially when he breaks into the chorus by that huge window? NOM NOM NOM NOM IS RIGHT. >]

Stupid school in one week.
I do not want to go. I wants home-shooling now, plz. Dis iz Goot Gramar.

Wow, okay. Less sugar at 1 am next time.
I'm going to start singing the song really loudly any moment now, I swear!

We call this "da topic shuffle."
It's where I jump from topic to topic and make everyone dizzy and stuff.

So. One thing that I've noticed lately.
I've kind of gradually taken a very passive attitude lately, kind of gone into this "collect information" state. No opinions being developed or conclusions being reached or actions based on anything. Nothing...?
In my Go, this is somehow being turned into patience, which s kind of suprising to me. Maybe... it's not as unproductive of a state as I labeled it.

Am I really just being lazy, then?
That's what I assumed before, but...

Yeah, well goodnight.
Somehow, I also managed to wring out all of my readers one by one. Is anyone left besides M & M? (Lol, Malisa and Maeve. Lol lol)

Scary away da readers with da seriouz buiznuss postz.
Fredsterz waitz until all da readers gone. z.

z.

edit edit!! CODE GEASS IS A REALLY GOOT SHOWZ. Rly rly goot.
MOAR ON DIS LATER. KBYE.

Basic Accounts, India, and LiveJournal Inc.

Development Goals and Basic Accounts

Last week we updated our development goals for 2008. Generally we noted a number of cool enhancements and investments to LiveJournal that we are working on, including improved search, usability, and site development.

We also wanted to let you know how we hope to accomplish all these things, and how we plan on paying for them. In order to accomplish our stated goals for this year and beyond, we need to increase the revenue gained from both groups of LiveJournal accounts: paid subscription accounts and ad-supported accounts.

As of August 28th, all users will be able to choose to downgrade their account to Basic through their Manage Account page. Additionally, we will start showing advertising to visitors who are not logged in to LiveJournal when they are looking at Basic Account journals and communities.

Basic Account users themselves will not see ads on any Basic journal or community while they are logged in to their account. If you want more information about this, take a look at our new post on [info]lj_2008 where we outline our reasoning.

Indian Flash Fiction Contest

In other news, we are excited to tell you we've launched "Quick Tales" LiveJournal's first initiative for users in India, in celebration of India Independence day, August 15th. "Quick Tales" is a flash fiction writing contest in which we're partnering with Caferati.com, one of India's largest online literary communites. The contest's winners will receive some great prizes and it is open to anyone with a mailing address in India. We hope that users with an interest in Indian writing or just India will watch LiveJournal's [info]india_writing community. That's where the finalists and winners will be announced, so keep an eye on it towards the end of September! If you're in India then enter the contest - if your story is slick and quick (under 500 words) then you could be the lucky winner!

Meanwhile, back at LiveJournal Inc.

We have updated and redesigned our corporate site. The goal of the redesign was twofold: first, to update the look and feel (Dystopia users will appreciate it!); second, we want to provide a destination for prospective employees, partners, and members of the press where they can access important information about the company. Kudos to our design team.
